Laphie is a person with a distinct style and a busy agenda. They love expressing themselves openly, their emotions and mood in full view through their personal style and accessories.
Laphie is a parent juggling through multiple tasks, a business woman on an international meeting or a friendly neighbour on their way to the grocery shop. Regardless of profession, age or gender, Laphie values efficient hair style, created by a simple ‘click’ of a hairclip into one’s hair.
Laphie creates handmade hair clips, using ecological materials of European origin. The designs of our creations are original, developed by our designer on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland and produced in our partner studios in the Jura mountains in France.
At Laphie, we are committed to offering high quality products, designed to last and supporting the artisanal know-how.
The material we use for our creations is acetate cellulose, a plant based material, created from wood or cotton fibres. The materials are 80-100% recyclable, based on their provenance. The material comes mainly from Italy and France. Rarely, we use materials from China, but only if this material had lain in the manufacturer’s stock for a long time and had no prospect for another usage. Such a ‘dead-stock’ material we sometimes use for limited editions, giving the material change for a new life.
You can find our products in boutiques and at hairdresser’s salons in Switzerland, mainly in the Lausanne-Vevey-Montreux area.
